Position Summary

Our CAMHS Crisis Team is committed to delivering short-term, recovery-oriented interventions aimed at enhancing the well-being of young individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Crisis Intervention Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social services and educational institutions, to address urgent mental health challenges faced by children and young people.
- Conduct comprehensive clinical risk assessments and mental health evaluations to inform immediate care strategies.
- Develop and implement short-term intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of individuals in crisis.
- Engage with various stakeholders, including Mental Health Services, Emergency Departments, and law enforcement, to ensure coordinated care for children and adolescents.
Qualifications and Skills:
