Position Overview
We are seeking a Contextual Studies Educator to support students in the M-Arch Architecture program. This role is pivotal in guiding students through their exploration of the historical and theoretical frameworks surrounding social and spatial justice as they relate to architectural design.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual tutorials and facilitate regular group seminars and contextual lectures.
- Prepare comprehensive course materials and engage in teaching, administration, and assessment activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Contextual Studies Lead and design tutors to enhance the educational experience.
- Contribute to the integration of theoretical content with design elements, fostering a cohesive learning environment.
Candidate Profile
The curriculum is centered around three primary themes: Identity & Equity, Climate & Ecology, and Publics & Commons. Candidates should possess expertise in these interconnected domains.
This position is open to individuals who have recently completed their BA or MA in relevant fields.
