Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Contextual Studies Tutor to support students in the M-Arch Architecture program. This role focuses on guiding students through their exploration of social and spatial justice within architectural design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual tutorials and facilitate regular group seminars and contextual lectures.
  • Prepare course materials, engage in teaching, and manage administrative tasks and assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Contextual Studies Lead and design tutors to enhance the quality of education and student support.

The theoretical components of the course are integrated with design elements, providing a cohesive framework for students to examine their own work alongside that of their peers.

Candidate Profile

The curriculum is centered around three primary themes: Identity & Equity, Climate & Ecology, and Publics & Commons. Expertise in these interconnected areas is essential.

This opportunity is available to candidates who have recently completed their BA or MA in relevant disciplines. Interested individuals should submit a CV and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and interest in the position.
