About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care and support to children and young people, including attending appointments, education, cleaning, cooking, and engaging in activities.
  • Ensure a safe and nurturing environment that encourages children and young people to develop and grow.
  • Encourage positive choices and milestones, and provide support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.
  • Complete daily paperwork to a high standard and liaise with professionals, including social workers, police, mental health services, and youth offending teams.
  • Build positive relationships with children and young people, meeting their needs and safeguarding their well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to provide the highest standards of care and supervision.
Requirements
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • QCF Level 3/4 in Children's Health & Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Ability to work weekends and bank holidays, including sleep-in duties.
