Pebble Recruitment Ltd is currently representing a reputable Environmental Consultancy that is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Ecologist to become a part of their expanding team.

This consultancy has experienced significant growth and now offers a diverse range of services to its clientele. They are committed to delivering high-quality services while ensuring the well-being and aspirations of both their clients and employees are prioritized throughout every project.

The ethos of the organization centers around the sustainability of projects, making it a core focus in all their endeavors. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the ecology team, engaging in various protected species assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting protected species assessments
  • Assisting in the preparation of tenders and fee quotations
  • Overseeing small to medium-sized projects, with support available for larger projects

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
  • A valid UK driving license
  • In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its practical application
  • Membership with the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management is preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from £24,000 to £33,000, based on experience
  • 23 days of annual leave, in addition to public holidays, with the option to purchase additional leave
