Job Title: Senior Environment Advisor

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 + Car allowance + Excellent Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environment Advisor to join our team at Irwin and Colton - HSE Recruitment. As a Senior Environment Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the environmental policy and compliance with legislation and regulations across two major projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the implementation of the Environment and Sustainability strategy and support the development of this with the project teams.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits and undertake preliminary environmental assessment, as well as providing environmental training where required.
  • Act as the main point of contact for the environment and sustainability program with key stakeholders including clients, contractors, and regulators.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role ideally within the construction, infrastructure or wider built environment.
  • Ideally a degree in a relevant Environmental related subject.
  • Experience with Environmental management systems e.g., ISO14001, waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ideally experience working closely with stakeholders.
