About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Net Zero Sustainability Consultant to join our team at ERM. As a key member of our climate change consultancy team, you will play a pivotal role in assisting organizations in their journey towards achieving net-zero emissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to help clients reduce their emissions and contribute to a more sustainable future.
  • Lead the analysis of carbon emissions from multiple perspectives, including understanding carbon emissions impact, target setting, and developing emissions reduction roadmaps.
  • Support and ensure that the outputs enable our clients to meet assessment and disclosure needs.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, workshop materials, presentations, and technical summaries.
  • Lead and support partners and teams to develop proposals for clients across a wide range of sectors.
Requirements
  • Relevant technical degree or 5+ years' experience in environmental consulting, climate change, or a related industry position.
  • Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge of GHG accounting and reporting principles, mechanisms, methodologies, and schemes.
  • Ability to proactively identify and suggest suitable methodologies to address client problems.
  • Good awareness of climate legislation, management systems, MACC analysis, and links between energy and climate change.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, strong Excel capabilities, and experience of data manipulation and visualization tools.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills, and ability to synthesize reports to a very high standard.
