Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environment Advisor to join our team at Irwin and Colton - HSE Recruitment. As a Senior Environment Advisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of environmental policies and compliance with legislation and regulations across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Provide environmental training and support to project teams to ensure they are aware of and comply with environmental policies and procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for environmental matters with clients, contractors, and regulators.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration on environmental matters.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction, infrastructure, or built environment sector.
  • Relevant degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Experience with environmental management systems, such as ISO14001, and waste management plans.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with stakeholders.
