About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pharmaceutical and Biotech Segment Focus: Be part of an evolving team to focus on customers within the Pharmaceutical and Biotech segments at a very exciting time of change.
  • Annual Operating Plan: Reach Annual Operating Plan set for territory.
  • Laboratory Equipment and Consumables: The strategic development and growth of laboratory equipment is the primary focus of this role with attachment of consumables.
  • Collaboration with Distributors: Working in coordination with our key distributors makes strong collaboration a critical requirement.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain existing relationships by regular face to face meetings, with new and existing customers. Use all routes to market including channel partners and e-commerce platform to deliver solutions for our customers.
  • Sales Forecasting and Pipeline Management: Sales Forecasting and anticipate pipeline changes enabling plans to be put in place to address shortfalls.
  • Customer Record Management: Use to ensure accurate customer records are held.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.
