Key Responsibilities- Innovative strategic planning and development for market approach within assigned territories
- Defining and implementing the business strategy on the areas entrusted to you
- Regular reporting on the market approach in the region, including competitors, customers, market share, and opportunities
- Developing in-depth expertise of our market, current and future developments, and trends
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, increasing market share, and developing the client's customer base
- Collaborating with procurement to build relationships with local suppliers in the region
- Developing the order book on the geographical areas entrusted to you
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities through prospecting and networking in your region
- Coordinating sales leads and bid management
- Working with the sales team to develop bid strategies and recommendations
- Discussing and agreeing sales strategies with the Regional Sales Manager
- Reviewing and checking the contents of all submission documents for clients prior to submission
- Arranging for quotations to be forwarded to customers
- Regularly updating sales forecasts in the Salesforce (CRM)
- Providing weekly and monthly reports on market strategies and opportunities
- Degree-level qualification desirable
- Experience within the material handling systems environment preferred
- Knowledge of the baggage handling system market
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial contact development to after-sales support for repeat business
