Business Development Manager

Are you a sales and business development professional looking for a challenging role in the material handling industry? Do you have a passion for innovative strategic planning and market approach? We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team at Russell Taylor Group Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market approach strategies for assigned territories
  • Define and implement business strategies for areas entrusted to you
  • Regularly report on market approach in the region, including competitors, customers, market share, and opportunities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships, and develop the client's customer base and market share
  • Collaborate with procurement to build relationships with local suppliers in the region
  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking in your region
  • Coordinate sales leads and bid management
  • Work with the sales team to develop bid strategies and discuss sales strategy with the Regional Sales Manager
  • Update sales forecasts in Salesforce (CRM) and provide regular market strategy and opportunity reports
Requirements:
  • Degree-level qualification desirable
  • Experience in material handling systems environment preferred
  • Baggage handling system market knowledge
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle from initial contact development to after-sales support
