Job Description

Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Assistant to join our team at Hays Specialist Recruitment. As an HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the HR department, ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the HR department, including maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and coordinating HR-related activities.
  • Learning and Development: Assist in the administration of learning and development programs, including scheduling, reporting, and tracking attendance and completion of training.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintaining accurate records and reporting deadlines.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with employees, managers, and other stakeholders, including providing clear and accurate written communication.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative role, preferably in a similar service.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees and stakeholders. Proficient in Microsoft packages, including Excel, and confident in learning and maximising the use of in-house databases and systems.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
