Human Resource Assistant Opportunity

NHS Fife is seeking two highly motivated and organized individuals to join our Human Resources team as Human Resource Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of HR services, including employee relations, terms and conditions of service, policy advice and guidance, and recruitment within the NHS.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to managers and staff within NHS Fife, assisting with queries and providing guidance on HR-related matters.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with NHS Scotland guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other teams to provide a comprehensive HR service, supporting the needs of staff and managers.
Requirements:
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to deal with confidential information in a mature and sensitive manner.
  • Experience of working within a busy Human Resources department, with knowledge of HR systems and IT literacy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid working environment, with both office and home working required.
  • Experience of recruitment and onboarding processes, with knowledge of NHS Scotland's recruitment guidelines.
