About the Role

CSL Vifor is seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Market Access Specialist. This role will play a critical part in developing and delivering Value, Access, and Policy strategies, tools, and materials to support the UK's commercial plans.

The successful candidate will work closely with medical, market access/HEOR, marketing, and sales teams to build and deliver market access plans in line with brand critical success factors and strategic imperatives. This will involve shaping and executing market access strategies and tactics to ensure optimal access for in-market and pipeline products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the NHS, relevant commissioning and access bodies, and funding processes for high-value medicines. They will also have experience of utilizing NHS data, such as HES and QOF, to evaluate the environment and identify opportunities.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and executing market access strategies and tactics
  • Maintaining a network of NHS, payer, and other relevant stakeholder contacts
  • Providing input into brand plans and delivering on market access elements within agreed budgets and timelines
  • Influencing and mobilizing internal business partners and external stakeholders to deliver initiatives that support access to CSL Vifor's pipeline and portfolio

The successful candidate will be an active and integral member of the business team, collaborating extensively with cross-functional teams to align on business strategy. They will also be required to conduct all activities in compliance with industry and company codes of practice, policies, and laws.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Sciences, Health Economics, Political Science, Law, Public Policy/Public Administration, or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in Value and Access, ideally in company and/or NHS environments
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience delivering value for high-value medicines in secondary care therapy areas
  • Demonstrable understanding of NHS, relevant commissioning and access bodies, and funding processes for high-value medicines
  • Experience of utilizing NHS data, such as HES and QOF, to evaluate the environment and identify opportunities
  • Experience executing market access tools and materials in the UK
  • Proven ability to develop strategies and project plans
  • Language requirement: English
