About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Specialist to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our water science and engineering team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Hydrological Assessments: Conduct comprehensive hydrological assessments, including flood risk assessments, water resource assessments, and drought risk assessments, to support our clients' needs.
  2. Hydrological Modelling and Analysis: Utilize advanced hydrological modelling software to analyze and interpret data, providing valuable insights to inform our clients' decisions.
  3. Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with senior staff members to manage projects and provide technical guidance, ensuring seamless delivery of services to our clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Postgraduate Degree in Relevant Field: Hold a postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Catchment Management, Hydrology, Geomorphology, Geography, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or Engineering Geology.
  2. Technical Skills and Experience: Possess experience in the application of hydraulic modelling software, such as Flood Modeller, TUFLOW, and HEC-RAS, as well as proficiency in Grapher, GIS, and/or AutoCAD.
  3. Business Acumen and Team Management: Demonstrate strong business acumen and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  4. UK Planning Regulations: Have experience with UK planning regulations and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  5. Valid UK Driving Licence: Hold a valid full UK driving licence.
