About Us

Ground Control is dedicated to contributing to the UK's goal of achieving Carbon Neutrality by 2050. We are currently seeking a skilled Site Manager to enhance our eMobility Infrastructure Team.

Our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure division is expanding, and we require an experienced site manager to oversee our national construction initiatives, with a focus on site setup, preliminary groundworks, and health and safety management.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are in search of seasoned Site Managers and Project Managers with a background in managing groundworks construction sites. Experience in EV infrastructure is advantageous but not mandatory for this position.

Responsibilities include:

Playing a crucial role in delivering EV infrastructure projects for both commercial and residential clients. Issuing on-site permits prior to project initiation. Developing Construction Phase Plans (CPP) for client approval before project commencement. Ensuring that reports and documentation are accurately completed and submitted through internal systems. Authorizing additional work as necessary. Overseeing and ensuring the quality of installations. Conducting regular site inspections to confirm compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Traveling across the UK, including occasional overnight stays.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be expected to travel across regions, from London to the Midlands, playing a vital role in the installation of eMobility Infrastructure while ensuring that all projects meet client specifications, deadlines, and budget constraints.

Candidates should possess:

A valid, clean EU/UK driving license. A CSCS Card. Strong communication abilities, with a knack for educating and training others. A commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. A proactive approach to health and safety, with a proven track record of addressing potential issues. The capability to work independently.
