Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Romax Site Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing cost estimates, and conducting site measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project costs and prepare cost estimates for construction projects
- Conduct site measurements and valuations of work completed
- Assist in the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts
- Monitor project costs and progress, providing regular reports to senior management
- Collaborate with the Senior QS and Contracts Manager to ensure project costs are accurately managed
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in quantity surveying
Requirements:
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in the construction industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Excellent IT skills
