Accelerate Your Career in Quality Management
We are seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at WAE Technologies Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Supplier Quality Assurance function and driving excellence in our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Supplier Quality Assurance Function: Develop and implement strategies to ensure that supplier components and assemblies meet our demanding quality and schedule requirements.
- Supply Chain Excellence: Work closely with Procurement to develop a supply chain that is fit for purpose and delivers conforming product on time, every time.
- Supplier Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement a supplier performance monitoring system to drive continual improvement in the supply chain.
- Quality Leadership: Lead all activities associated with specific non-conforming product containment incidents, identifying root causes and ensuring robust and rigorous problem resolution.
- Supplier Onboarding: Develop, implement, and utilize supplier assessment and onboarding processes, tools, and methods that will deliver a world-class supply chain.
- Communication and Collaboration: Act as the day-to-day point of contact for Supplier Quality and the SQA team, supporting programme and technical reviews internally and with the customer.
Requirements:
- Formal Engineering Qualification: A formal engineering qualification (e.g., HNC/D, Degree, apprenticeship) with proven experience of working in a Supplier Quality role within automotive, aerospace, or similar industry.
- ISO9001 Internal Auditor Qualification: ISO9001 internal auditor qualification (experience with ISO/TS16949 is preferable).
- Knowledge of Quality Processes: Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: A team player who can communicate at all levels within the business, with the ability to convey complex ideas and data in a concise manner.
