Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at WAE Technologies Limited. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the Supplier Quality Assurance function and ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a supplier quality strategy that aligns with our business objectives
  • Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with our quality standards
  • Collaborate with procurement to develop and implement a supply chain strategy that delivers high-quality products on time
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality issues
  • Lead the development of a supplier performance monitoring system to drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with the supply base to develop improvement plans and deliver performance improvement
Requirements:
  • Formal engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/D, Degree, apprenticeship) with proven experience in a Supplier Quality role
  • ISO9001 internal auditor qualification (experience with ISO/TS16949 is preferable)
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas and data in a concise manner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
