Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supplier Quality Manager to join our team at WAE Technologies Limited. As a key member of our Supply Chain organization, you will be responsible for leading the Supplier Quality Assurance function and ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of supplier quality strategies and plans to ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to develop and maintain a robust supply chain that delivers high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure their quality performance meets our expectations.
  • Lead the investigation and resolution of quality issues and non-conformances.
  • Develop and implement a supplier performance monitoring system to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality is integrated into all aspects of our business.
Requirements:
  • A formal engineering qualification (e.g. HNC/D, Degree, apprenticeship) with proven experience of working in a Supplier Quality role within automotive, aerospace or similar industry.
  • ISO9001 internal auditor qualification (experience with ISO/TS16949 is preferable).
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS.
  • A team player who can communicate at all levels within the business; Ability to convey complex ideas and data in a concise manner; works to strict deadlines and able to prioritize in a complex and shifting environment.
  • An experienced leader, with demonstrated ability to build teams, develop personnel and drive positive change within a Supplier Quality organization.
