Position: Pricing Risk Modelling Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Remote

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 + Exceptional Bonus and Benefits

We are seeking a skilled Pricing Risk Modelling Manager to lead a dedicated Pricing Department comprising over 90 professionals committed to delivering equitable and precise pricing for our clients. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence our pricing strategy while taking on both technical and leadership responsibilities.

Role Highlights:
  • This position provides the chance to be part of a collaborative and diverse team focused on achieving shared objectives and ensuring our members receive optimal pricing.
  • Your primary focus will be on developing, advising, and overseeing the risk pricing for Personal Motor products, ensuring the delivery of precise risk costs that enhance premium stability while elucidating the factors contributing to cost inflation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing pricing initiatives, including extensive price development, claims forecasting, and evaluating product modifications.
  • Assessing technical recommendations with appropriate judgment.
  • Delivering insights and clarity to empower informed business decisions.
  • Managing a small team of Analysts and Lead Analysts, fostering their professional growth.
Candidate Profile:
  • The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in insurance pricing, particularly in a technical capacity with direct accountability for pricing outcomes, especially related to Personal Motor products.
  • Experience within the general insurance sector and a strong background in the UK insurance market are essential.
Essential Skills:
  • Ability to understand and forecast claims inflation.
  • Monitoring the sufficiency of pricing assumptions.
  • Analyzing intricate data to form a comprehensive perspective on relevant risks and delivering sound commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
