We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing Risk Modelling Manager to enhance our established Pricing Department, collaborating with a diverse team of over 90 professionals dedicated to ensuring equitable and precise customer pricing. This role presents an opportunity to advance your career as both a technical expert and a leader, influencing our client's pricing strategies.
Role Responsibilities:
- As a Risk Pricing Manager, you will join a collaborative and inclusive team focused on delivering value to our members through fair pricing.
- Your primary focus will be on the development, recommendation, and management of risk pricing for Personal Motor products, ensuring an accurate risk cost that balances premium strength with insights into cost inflation drivers.
Key Duties Include:
- Leading comprehensive pricing initiatives, including extensive price constructions, claims forecasts, and product change cost assessments.
- Evaluating technical recommendations with sound judgment.
- Providing clarity and insights to facilitate informed business decisions.
- Overseeing the development of a select group of Analysts and Lead Analysts within the team.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and proactive insurance pricing expert with experience in a technical pricing capacity, particularly concerning Personal Motor products. A background in the general insurance sector, with a strong focus on the UK market, is essential.
Essential Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and anticipate claims inflation.
- Monitoring the sufficiency of pricing assumptions.
- Expertise in analyzing complex datasets, forming a comprehensive understanding of relevant risks, and providing sound commercial recommendations.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
