Position: Pricing Risk Modelling Manager

Work Arrangement: Hybrid - Remote

Salary: £70,000 - £100,000 + Exceptional Bonus and Benefits

As a key member of a prominent Pricing Department, you will collaborate with a team of over 90 skilled professionals dedicated to ensuring equitable and precise pricing for our customers. This role presents an opportunity to advance your career as both a technical and people leader, contributing to the evolution of our client's pricing strategy.

Role Highlights:

  • This Pricing Risk Manager position provides the thrilling opportunity to be part of a collaborative and inclusive team, united by the goal of delivering optimal value to our members at a reasonable cost.
  • Your primary focus will be on developing, recommending, and overseeing the risk pricing for Personal Motor products, ensuring an accurate risk cost that balances premium strength with insights into cost inflation drivers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading pricing initiatives, including extensive price constructions, claims forecasting, and evaluating product modifications and proposals.
  • Assessing technical recommendations with appropriate judgment.
  • Delivering insights and clarity to facilitate informed business decisions.
  • Overseeing a small team of Analysts and Lead Analysts, fostering their professional growth.

Candidate Profile:

  • The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and proactive insurance pricing expert with experience in a technical pricing capacity, particularly in Personal Motor products. Previous exposure to the general insurance industry, especially within the UK market, is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and forecast claims inflation.
  • Monitoring the sufficiency of pricing assumptions.
  • Analyzing intricate data to form a comprehensive understanding of relevant risks and providing sound commercial recommendations.
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities.
