About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Static Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a Senior Static Project Engineer, you will be responsible for a portfolio of projects and will provide technical advice and guidance to a team of engineers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure a consistent high standard in the service provided to clients
  • Develop relationships with customers to optimise opportunities and support the development of new business
  • Manage the commercial needs of the business and individual projects
  • Develop and implement industry-leading products and techniques
  • Perform investigations into pipework & structural integrity problems and pipe stress analysis
  • Analyse & quantify damage mechanisms in plant components such as creep & fatigue
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualified Mechanical Engineer with a working knowledge of the tools used to assess problems in the field of structural integrity
  • Experience with pressure equipment design is advantageous
  • A working knowledge of relevant industry standards such as API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, PD5500 etc
  • Chartered status and ten or more years relevant industry experience
