About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Static Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Asset Management function, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to a team of engineers at all levels.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in structural integrity and a working knowledge of industry-leading tools such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD, Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise, Hexagon VVD & PV Elite, and Bentley STAAD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform investigations into pipework and structural integrity problems and pipe stress analysis to ASME B31.X
  • Analyse and quantify damage mechanisms in plant components such as creep and fatigue
  • Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers
  • Develop and implement industry-leading products and techniques
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A qualified Mechanical Engineer with a working knowledge of the tools used to assess problems in the field of structural integrity
  • Experience in office and site work, ideally from a similar technical role within a relevant industry sector
  • Chartered status and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards such as API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, PD5500, etc.
