We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Static Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Asset Management function, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to a team of engineers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of projects and ensure a consistent high standard in the service provided to clients.
- Develop relationships with customers to optimise opportunities and support the development of new business.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers in the use of tools such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD, Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise, Hexagon VVD & PV Elite, and Bentley STAAD.
- Perform investigations into pipework and structural integrity problems, pipe stress analysis, and analysing and quantifying damage mechanisms in plant components.
Requirements:
- Qualified Mechanical Engineer with a working knowledge of tools used to assess problems in the field of structural integrity.
- Experience in office and site work, ideally from a similar technical role within a relevant industry sector.
- Chartered and with ten or more years relevant industry experience, or exceptional candidates who are demonstrably capable.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as API-579, BS7910, ASME B31.X, and PD5500.
