About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Static Integrity Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. As a key member of our Static Engineering function, you will be responsible for providing technical advice and guidance to a team of engineers at all levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of projects and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery
  • Develop and implement industry-leading products and techniques to promote the capabilities of the function
  • Collaborate with customers to optimize opportunities and support the development of new business
  • Perform investigations into pipework and structural integrity problems, and provide pipe stress analysis using tools such as ANSYS Mechanical FEA and CFD
  • Work with a range of software tools, including Hexagon CEASAR II, TWI CrackWise, Hexagon VVD & PV Elite, and Bentley STAAD
Requirements
  • Qualified Mechanical Engineer with a working knowledge of tools used to assess problems in structural integrity
  • Experience with pressure equipment design is advantageous
  • Strong technical expertise and ability to manage commercial needs of the business and individual projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with customers and colleagues
