About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test and Equipment Qualification Project Engineer to join our team at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead large-scale Equipment Qualification (EQ) test programmes, providing technical expertise and project management skills to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage and lead EQ test programmes, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Analyse data generated from EQ tests, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain technical documents, reports, and specifications for instrumentation and data acquisition test set-ups
  • Lead pre-contract negotiations, including client liaison, requirement interpretation, and tender preparation
  • Design and calculate bespoke test rigs for department contracts, ensuring technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness
  • Engage with internal stakeholders, including technical project teams, to ensure successful contract completion
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant Engineering degree and considerable transferrable experience
  • Experience in structural qualification of components within a relevant sector, instrumentation, and data acquisition
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and their application in a component test environment
