Position Overview

The Manufacturing, Testing, and Qualification division within the Asset Management sector of Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics offers consultancy services across various industries including Oil and Gas, Process, Nuclear, and Renewables. We are currently seeking a Lead Equipment Qualification Engineer to enhance our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee extensive Equipment Qualification (EQ) testing programs, ensuring both financial and technical oversight.
  • Analyze data produced from EQ tests and prepare comprehensive reports and technical documentation.
  • Specify instrumentation and set up data acquisition systems to align with client testing requirements.
  • Engage in pre-contract discussions, interpreting client needs and crafting competitive tenders.
  • Design and calculate bespoke test rigs necessary for executing departmental contracts.
  • Facilitate collaboration among internal stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Engineering degree and substantial transferable experience, particularly in the structural qualification of components within applicable sectors. Proficiency in instrumentation and data acquisition, along with a solid grasp of mechanical engineering principles in a testing environment, is essential.
