The Opportunity: Field Service Forklift Engineer
Contract: Permanent
Location: UK and Ireland
Salary: Up to £36,000 + Overtime
The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. As a Field Service Forklift Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our customers' equipment.
The Impact you will have:
- Attend customer locations to assess and agree on work priorities, ensuring safe working practices are adhered to.
- Liaise with customers and internal teams to provide clarity on expected work, timescales, and costs.
- Identify root causes of equipment breakdowns and source parts in a cost-effective manner, utilizing internal and external resources as needed.
- Ensure all work meets engineering standards and relevant specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and checks on your work to ensure equipment is safe and performs satisfactorily before returning it to customers.
- Collaborate with the Briggs Technical team to resolve complex issues and provide expert support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve service delivery.
- Contribute to the development of internal processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance technical skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives and support the growth of the Briggs Equipment Group.
