Responsibilities:
Human Resources

Providing comprehensive HR assistance to various business units.
Overseeing the administration of employee leave, including holidays and sickness, as well as managing related correspondence.
Facilitating recruitment processes by advertising positions, reviewing applications, and coordinating interviews.
Maintaining accurate employee personnel files.
Ensuring all employee documentation, including training records, is current and organized.
Tracking and documenting employee probationary evaluations to guarantee timely completion.
Issuing employee contracts and amendments as necessary.
Documenting and distributing meeting notes to relevant stakeholders.
Updating and managing the company handbook and policies.
Developing and refining all HR policies.
Administering the company’s personal protective equipment (PPE) register.
Overseeing the company’s private health care program.
Processing monthly pension contributions.
Staying informed about government training grants.
Enhancing and managing health and safety procedures.
Maintaining comprehensive HR records.
Ensuring effective onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting induction and exit interviews.

Requirements
As an HR Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the appraisal, disciplinary, and grievance processes within the organization.
Coordinating training initiatives for employees.
Handling monthly payroll tasks using relevant software.
Ensuring compliance with statutory payroll reporting requirements.
Providing guidance to management on HR-related matters.
Maintaining up-to-date job descriptions for all positions.
Ensuring all HR documentation meets quality standards.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, Training, and Experience:
A minimum qualification of Business Administration Level 3 or equivalent is required.
A relevant HR qualification, such as Assoc. CIPD or equivalent, is preferred or a willingness to pursue one.
Previous experience in an administrative role within a busy office environment, preferably in HR, is essential.
Experience in operating a switchboard and providing excellent customer service is required.
Strong interpersonal skills, both in-person and over the phone, to effectively communicate with management at all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy is necessary.
Demonstrated teamwork abilities are essential.

Strong planning and organizational skills are crucial to meet departmental objectives while maintaining the integrity of the organization.
