We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our team at Michelle Simpson HR Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the HR team with all people-related matters, including operational and project activities.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with the HR Manager to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Providing HR direction and support to key stakeholders and employees.
  • Managing absence management across the organization, including recording and reporting.
  • Overseeing end-to-end recruitment campaigns, including sourcing candidates, liaising with recruitment agencies, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
  • Preparing documents and paperwork for all HR-related activities across the employee lifecycle.
  • Maintaining HR records, including paper-based and HRIS systems.
  • Producing reports to provide key HR information to the business.
  • Analyzing data to inform policy decisions.
  • Coaching line managers and providing guidance on HR issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management, performance management, and terms and conditions.
  • Supporting the management of operational HR activities within a complex environment.
  • Assisting with updating and implementing HR communications.
  • Undertaking ad hoc HR project work as required.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable HR experience, gained at the HR Assistant or HR Officer level, ideally within a complex environment. They will be a confident coach who can support stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
