Housing Surveyor

We are proud to be partnering with a reputable Housing Association to recruit two Repairs Surveyors on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality repairs and maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect housing stock and building works to identify defects and areas for improvement
- Prepare specifications and compile tender/contract documentation to deliver repairs and void works
- Carry out pre and post inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work with contractors to utilize the budget for maintenance effectively and project manage customer requests
- Manage and communicate with internal and external customers regarding complaints, MP enquiries, EHO compliant and legal disrepairs
- Experience of scheduling building/planned maintenance works and contract administration
- Knowledge of housing maintenance, repair specifications, diagnosing defects and remedial works
- A strong knowledge of social housing management
- Skills in housing/property management systems (Northgate or similar)
