Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Surveyor to join our team at PA Housing. As a key member of our property maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering stock investment and planned works programmes for our LSE properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • To deliver the stock investment and planned works programmes for PA Housing for our LSE properties, including kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, and roof replacements.
  • To use and update Keystone in managing the works, including the use of mobile technology.
  • Certifying contractor valuations and claims within this role's delegated authority limits, including interim and final account payment.
  • Carry out and manage the quality inspection process of works, including pre-start scoping, work in progress quality inspections, and post-inspection sign-offs.
  • Work closely with our resident liaison officer to ensure the stock investment and planned works offer excellent customer experience and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Review and update our stock data to develop future stock investment and planned work programmes.

Requirements

  • Holds a professional qualification in a relevant technical discipline, or the ability to demonstrate suitable experience to meet the requirements of this role.
  • Accredited qualifications by Royal Institution for Chartered Surveyors or the Chartered Institute of Building.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH qualification.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in delivering stock investment/major works to social housing or private residential housing.
  • Experience of managing suppliers through long-term contracts, which include JCT Measured Term contracts or similar.

Disclosure and Barring Service

This role requires the successful candidate to complete a basic DBS check. A basic DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
