Job Opportunity: PMO Manager

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager to join our outstanding PMO Team at Cardfactory. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies, excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to simplify complex information for diverse stakeholders.

As the PMO Manager, your main responsibility will be to collaborate with the Head of PMO to ensure that projects deliver the required outcomes within the defined quality, time, and cost constraints. This involves:

  1. Adhering to Cardfactory's standard project management methodology and best practices.
  2. Producing plans, documentation, and guidance for project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Ensuring compliance with all organizational procedures.

This is a dynamic role where you will:

  1. Provide analysis to support decision-making.
  2. Offer guidance on project processes.
  3. Manage weekly and monthly reporting cycles.
  4. Maintain resource and financial controls within your program of work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Delivery team to ensure effective portfolio delivery.
  2. Promote best practices in kanbans, backlogs, JIRA, financial reporting, and delivery metrics.
  3. Support project/programme budget delivery.
  4. Maintain PMO as the 'single source of truth' for all projects.
  5. Embed and coach project control and governance.
  6. Conduct root cause analysis and log lessons learned.
  7. Manage cross-programme dependencies.
  8. Assist with project planning, milestone, scope, resource, financial, and change management.
  9. Liaise with stakeholders at all levels and prepare regular status reports for all business levels.
  10. Identify and support initiatives needing additional resources or governance.
  11. Identify, report, and resolve risks and issues while continuously improving portfolio and delivery processes.
  12. Manage delivery process systems (Triskell).
