Project Manager - Civil Engineering and Highways

Carnell Support Services Limited is seeking a skilled and results-driven Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation, to ensure timely completion and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Client Communications: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the project life cycle, and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement proactive measures to mitigate them, ensuring the project's success and minimizing potential losses.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with relevant regulations, adhering to industry best practices and company policies.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, expenses, and resource allocation, making adjustments as necessary to ensure the project stays within budget.
  • Progress Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any necessary adjustments, providing transparent and accurate information.
Requirements:
  • Education: Hold a HND/HNC or equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Prove experience in managing large-scale projects in a civil engineering or highways environment, with a strong background in project management, planning, and risk management.
  • Project Management: Possess strong project management expertise, including planning, scheduling, and risk management, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Driving License: Hold a full clean UK driving license, with the ability to travel to project sites as required.
