About the Role

Vertical Advantage is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead the New Product Development (NPD) portfolio for the EMEA region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of FMCG projects, from concept to market launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage multiple FMCG projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define project requirements, success criteria, and project plans.
  • Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, providing clear direction and maintaining momentum through regular updates and action tracking.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks in FMCG project management, developing mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze data to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for process improvement in FMCG projects.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in project management within the FMCG sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, particularly within a stage-gate framework.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach to FMCG projects.
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, especially within FMCG contexts.
