The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant Manager. As a key member of our store team, you will support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, optimising KPI performance, and maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Store Manager in driving sales performance and day-to-day operations.
  • Drive store performance by maximising sales opportunities and optimising KPI performance.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to drive business growth through customer loyalty and repeat purchases.
  • Develop and execute a tasting events programme to showcase our product range.
  • Support the recruitment, management, and development of the team.
  • Take accountability for the physical appearance and maintenance of the store.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve the operational running of the store.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven retail or hospitality environment.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer experiences and service.
  • Understanding of retail KPIs and ability to drive improvements.
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • WSET 2 qualification is essential, with a willingness to work towards WSET 3 qualification.
  • Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
