At EMIS Group Plc, we are excited to present an exceptional opportunity for a Business Analyst to become a vital member of our talented EMIS-X Analytics product team on a permanent basis.

As our organization experiences significant growth, your role will be crucial in comprehending and collecting requirements from both our clients and internal stakeholders for our EMIS-X product. As a Business Analyst, you will focus on our 'Pathway' product, which empowers clients to implement population-level proactive and preventive care initiatives through clinical intelligence, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes.

You will collaborate closely with our dynamic product team responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, which is instrumental in shaping the next phase of health data analytics hosted on AWS.

As a Business Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between our clients, users, and internal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include understanding the expectations for our product by gathering and defining requirements and documenting processes to support our product and engineering teams.

You will conduct data and market analysis to identify customer and business needs. Your insights, derived from desk research and internal stakeholder communications, will inform product features and enhance our understanding of compatible customer requirements, ultimately driving product quality.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Analyze and document customer and user requirements to assist the product team in developing the product roadmap.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders to comprehend their needs and constraints.
  • Analyze and document systems, processes, and procedures to aid the product team in designing new features.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We seek a seasoned Business Analyst with a proven track record of effectively communicating and documenting findings for the broader business. You should demonstrate prior experience in transforming innovative concepts into actionable requirements.

Collaboration is key; you should be able to showcase your success in building trusted and credible relationships with clients to understand their requirements.

We are looking for candidates with experience in a similar role supporting technology products utilizing AWS and SQL. With a background in market research, you should be able to illustrate how you have gathered insights that inform product decisions.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Capacity to influence key stakeholders and collaborate closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Excellent documentation skills, with experience in documenting systems and requirements.

If this opportunity resonates with you, we invite you to consider joining our team.
