Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at Avantor. As a key member of our Lab and Production Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations.
- Process stock orders for delivery by internal distribution, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of laboratory consumables, chemicals, and PPE.
- Collaborate with the team to receive and inspect goods, ensuring quality control processes are followed.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly and efficiently to customer requests within service agreements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring continuous quality and efficiency.
- Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) A level education.
- Experience working in a lab environment, preferably with knowledge of GMP standards.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of SAP/E-Lims/other inventory management software a plus.
