The Opportunity:

Avantor is seeking a highly skilled Stock Management Specialist to join our team at Borehamwood on a permanent basis. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate management of laboratory consumables, chemicals, and PPE. You will work closely with our scientific teams to meet customer business needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using our Inventory Management software
  • Process stock orders for delivery by internal distribution
  • Ensure quality control processes are followed for goods receiving
  • Manage customer requests promptly and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve inventory management goals
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) A level
  • Experience of working in a lab environment is preferred
  • Good understanding of Good Manufacture Practice (GMP) standards
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Inventory Management software
