Job Title: Quality Assurance and Service Innovation Lead

We invite a qualified professional to join our team and focus on enhancing our pharmaceutical quality control services. This position offers a chance to engage in innovative practices, improve quality standards, and spearhead service advancements within the pharmaceutical quality control sector.
- Specialize in microbiological services, including environmental assessments and process monitoring, while working closely with operational teams.
- Collaborate with the lead pharmacist for quality to oversee quality management, validation processes, and research initiatives. Build and enhance quality management and validation teams to improve overall competency.
- Contribute significantly to research and development efforts in the laboratory, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Regularly update the Associate Director of Pharmacy and the Chief Pharmacist on project progress.
- Work in partnership with service managers and technical experts to ensure smooth operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the management of innovation and service development within the Pharmacy Quality Control and Aseptic Services.
- Provide guidance and leadership for all innovation and service enhancements within the Quality Control Laboratory, advising on advancements in the aseptic unit.
- Focus on improving Environmental Monitoring Services and provide expert microbiological insights.
- Plan, execute, and oversee projects to ensure compliance with best practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Mentor technical experts to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Support the Lead Pharmacist for Quality and the Operational Manager of the Quality Control Laboratory in service delivery. Supervise and assist staff throughout service development initiatives.
- Contribute to the long-term strategic planning of services, ensuring that essential components are effectively implemented.
- Provide leadership that inspires and empowers team members within the Quality Control Laboratory and Pharmacy department.
- Manage the Operational Quality teams, ensuring adherence to safe service delivery standards, budget control, and appropriate staffing levels.
- Foster staff development within the Quality Control Laboratory and Aseptic Services, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of scientific principles and practices.
Qualifications/Registration:
Essential:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in a field related to microbiological services and innovation.
- Postgraduate qualification in management and leadership.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory standards.
- Experience in regulated environments adhering to pharmaceutical guidelines.
- Background in education and training within a relevant field.
