The Role:
As a Quality Control Assistant, you play a crucial role in shaping the overall customer experience. By delivering exceptional quality control with a genuine commitment to our customer's satisfaction, you contribute to our brand's reputation for excellence and set the standard for premium customer care in the industry.
You will have a particular focus on ensuring only quality items which adhere to our high standards are available for our customers to purchase. Taking the time to update your knowledge of our products allows you to understand the whole process and provide the best possible service for our customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inspecting products delivered from our suppliers and ensuring our standards are met.
- Understanding of acceptable quality level checking for faults and defects in garments.
- Measuring garments against size specifications.
- Complete final quality check on all garments and log findings and other relevant information.
- Pressing garments.
- Spot cleaning of garments.
- Communicating with the warehouse team when shipments arrive into the building in order to plan and prioritize styles that are launching or restocking.
- Documenting quality checks through images or videos and keep an organised record of daily checks completed. Discuss any findings weekly with the team.
Requirements:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work well as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask and have a positive and flexible approach to working.
- Ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- An exceptional eye for detail.
- Knowledge of Excel or Google Cells.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience of quality control within a textile/clothing environment.
- Previous experience in a Quality Control role.
- An understanding of how a garment is constructed.
