About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in their health status
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellbeing
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures

Person Specification

We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse with a minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years. You will need to be registered with the NMC and hold a Paediatric Nursing Degree. A strong understanding of child development and health, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for this role.
