About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to children and young people with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Clinical Governance to maintain and improve standards of patient care.
- Work as a role model in placing the patients experience at the core of service delivery.
- Assist in the monitoring and auditing of the quality of care through a range of strategies, including risk management incident reporting, complaints, research and effectiveness monitoring and clinical audit.
- Contribute to the development of the service and demonstrate commitment to the vision and objectives of the clinical area.
- Work with Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to effectively manage the allocated financial resources within allocated budget.

Person Specification
- Registered Nurse (Child) or studying towards a recognised nursing degree in children's nursing.
- Experience in a paediatric ward and experience in a care environment dealing with children.
