About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in their health and well-being.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellbeing through evidence-based practice.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and pain management.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice.

Person Specification

We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse with:

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years.
  • Current NMC registration and a Paediatric Nursing Degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
