About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people, working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying and responding to any changes or concerns
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, including medication management, wound care, and education
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, using clear and empathetic language to ensure understanding and cooperation
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices

Person Specification

We are looking for a Paediatric Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and who is committed to working collaboratively with others to achieve the best possible outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Paediatric Nursing or a related field
  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric environment within the last 3 years
  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
