Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Derivative Trading Specialist to manage multi-asset electronic execution, including commodity and financial derivatives, equities, CFDs, bonds, and FX across global exchanges. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of derivatives and risk management, as well as advanced experience of trading systems, including Fidessa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support 24-hour execution coverage, including night shifts on rotation.
- Act as the interface between clients and the company.
- Provide execution services, risk management, and administrative support to the client base.
- Maintain and develop relationships, generate, and onboard new business.
- Swift and accurate execution of customer instructions across a wide range of asset classes globally.
- Monitor multiple communication channels and order passing systems.
- Confirm all trades with clients and complete all necessary paperwork and admin in relation to execution.
- Provide a high level of assistance to clients who require support and information relating to their positions and trades.
- Monitor and control risk, assisting with the daily Margin Call Report as required.
- Liaise with all departments internally to ensure smooth running of desk processes.
- Work closely with front office teams across the firm to facilitate client execution out of regular hours to support customer needs.
- Develop, maintain, and grow customer relationships; develop new business leads, onboard new clients.
- Represent the company at functions and events as required.
Requirements:
- In-depth derivative execution knowledge and experience.
- Advanced experience of trading systems, including Fidessa.
- In-depth knowledge of derivatives and risk management.
- Account management, sales, and income generation.
- Ability and knowledge to work independently and as a team.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
