Department Overview

The Contracts and Settlements department is a critical support function that ensures effective processes and controls are in place to mitigate operational risk and potential loss whether financial (actual or lost opportunity) or reputational.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled ETD Operations Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reconciliation of derivative positions traded on exchange, ensuring that discrepancies are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, in line with the business transaction procedures, covering all exchange traded products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process derivative transactions through to completion within the performance standards set out in the business transaction procedures.
  • To reconcile and report on all Profit Centre and derivative specific records within the set performance standards. Actively monitoring and clearing all open exceptions within set timeframes.
  • Ensure that all clearing and execution fees are validated and processed in a timely manner.
  • Brokerage reconciliation
  • Any other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Numerate with a strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver high standards of accuracy.
  • A team player, confident in building strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
  • Able to follow procedures, identify problems and follow up on resolution.
  • Fluent in English with the ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues including senior management.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
