EDF Trading Ltd is a leading energy trading company that enables the commercial activities of EDF Group. Our Contracts and Settlements department plays a crucial role in processing a large number of transactions with various counterparts.

Job Purpose

The ETD Operations Associate - Derivatives Specialist will be responsible for the reconciliation of derivative positions traded on exchange. This involves ensuring discrepancies are resolved in a timely and accurate manner, in line with business transaction procedures, covering all exchange traded products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process derivative transactions through to completion within performance standards set out in business transaction procedures.
  • Reconcile and report on all Profit Centre and derivative specific records within set performance standards. Actively monitor and clear all open exceptions within set timeframes.
  • Validate and process all clearing and execution fees in a timely manner.
  • Brokerage reconciliation.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Numerate with a strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high standards of accuracy.
  • Team player, confident in building strong working relationships at all levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to follow procedures, identify problems, and follow up on resolution.
  • Fluent in English with ability to communicate messages clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues including senior management.

Working Hours

8.30am – 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
